Oneness University - It's Founders.

Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan are the global visionaries behind the Oneness phenomenon whose lives have been dedicated to accelerating the release of human suffering and help people live better lives. Millions have benefited from their work.

Day after day, hundreds of individuals from all over the world come to the Oneness University seeking inner peace, a life full of joy and connectedness and an opportunity for contribution to cope with the larger challenges faced by humanity. What they find is miraculous transformations; the release of deep trauma, the healing of broken relationships, the restoration of a sense of purpose, and even opportunities to recover from emotional and physical conditions through the energy of Oneness Deeksha.
Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma are husband and wife. They are the founders and the inspiration behind the Oneness University, Oneness Academies, global centers and community work. Supported and loved by millions around the world, Amma and Bhagavan power the process of awakening in the individual seeker. They are the silent Presence empowering the phenomenon of the Oneness Blessing everywhere.
The gift bestowed by the Oneness Blessing originated from the deep passion and intent of the co- founders. They are not interested in creating a new religion, belief, or idea, nor in altering a single person from their chosen path. Their commitment and passion is simply to help awaken humanity to oneness and unity with the higher consciousness—to anyone who seeks it, no matter what path they chose to follow. Their passion is for all humanity to shift back to their natural state of being: Oneness.
Sri Bhagavan saw that the root of conflict among human beings was not just about material suffering, but about the ravage that existential suffering could cause in the spirit of every man, from the poorest to the most successful. Sri Bhagavan studied the beliefs and history of the major religious and spiritual movements around the world, including Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Hinduism. He discovered that dogma by itself left believers empty, for it could not provide the actual, living experience of the Divine. He longed to find a way to help the common man to experience the profound connection with the Divine that a mystic felt.
In the clarity of his understanding, Sri Bhagavan also saw that material conditions were peripheral to the reality of human suffering. They were not the root of the problem, but at some point they became entangled with the search for solutions. Many faiths advocated renunciation, while others yet advocated the search for prosperity. Sri Bhagavan came to conclude that these beliefs, in any form, were restrictions placed upon the human psyche and thus another layer of distancing from the actual experience of the Divine was established. He was convinced that to fully experience the Divine, humanity needed to be free of dogma and free of entanglements associated with values or expectation.
Throughout his youth, Sri Bhagavan took a deep intent (or ‘sankalpa’ in Sanskrit) to find a way to help all men and women, regardless of their origin, belief, lifestyle or religious association, make that profound leap into an unimpeded experience of the Divine that was previously only available to mystics. He met Sri Amma and discovered that she had the same desire and intent. They were married on June 9, 1976.
With Sri Amma now as his partner, they founded the Jeevashram school in 1984. This institution, devoted to educating and loving students in a holistic manner, became the cradle of the Oneness phenomenon. As the Deeksha started pouring through the young students, Sri AmmaBhagavan saw that this energy was given for the benefit of all humanity, not to liberate a chosen few, but to share the grace of Oneness Deeksha with anyone and everyone looking for transformation, healing, and a purposeful, joyous life. From the Jeevashram school and later the University, Sri AmmaBhagavan created a body of teachings suited for the new earth in this new millennium.

The most intelligent, advanced and exquisitely simple teachings have been put forth as the offering of the Oneness University, and they have been embraced by everyone, from those who have never attended school to the highly educated and sophisticated. It is because in their language, their teachings are like rays of sunlight that alight upon every human concern and illuminate our understanding not just intellectually but also experientially. Sri AmmaBhagavan believe that experiencing is the requirement of a life lived in full, and that everything and anything, if experienced fully, regardless of how difficult or tragic, eventually turns to joy.

Sri Bhagavan on Happening of Miracles and Transformation.

Bhagavan, when people meet Amma ji and Bhagavan ji, tremendous miracles are happening to them and they are experiencing great transformation. How does it happen? Sri Bhagavan: See basically when you come to me, that is why we say please come one by one. Even when you are one family or husband and wife, very often i am focusing, we don't even know who is the person standing next. Even though we know the person very very well. While looking we can't pick up the other person at all. When we focus on you we actually experience you. Of course we take some precautions because, if you sense we are experiencing, you will collapse. So we don't do that. So up to a point we experience you. Then it gives me a feeling that what is causing you pain. That is why I take little bit time to adjust. So once I can get it exactly, we feel that this is what you want desperately. We take sankalpa that this must change now. When we feel and take the sankalpa, then what happens is, it becom

Vision of Oneness

Dear Bhagavan, we have heard you say that vision of Oneness is to set humanity free. Could You elucidate on this? Sri Bhagavan: "Nature has thrown up a tremendous variety of species. The physical component provided by nature could be considered the hardware. If evolution of life were compared to a day then humanity suppose to have emerged in the last few moments. This tremendously advanced spieces of human kind has created a software, based on the hardware provided by nature. This software consists of beliefs, perceptions, religions, myths, cultures and any number of stories on which it runs. The sum total of this psychological content could be termed the software that is running the spieces. A significant section of this software is limiting in nature and is detrimental to the experience of living. One of the most defective softwares that has become part of the human system is the illusory identity of the thinker or self. The vision of Oneness is to set humanity totally and

Man's victory lies in his surrender to God.

Sri Amma Bhagavan: We can expound this teaching at different levels. We will see one perspective only right now.      God's will is the Divine Will. What we see is the Divine Will. All things are happening automatically. Sun is rising in the east, seasons are coming, earth is revolving round the sun, you are waking up in the morning, you are getting hunger, thinking is happening etc. Therefore, what is happening is the Divine Will.      God has gifted man with the Free Will. Which means, man has the power to think whatever he wants, speak whatever he wants and can do whatever he wants to do. That is how one can design one's life. Throw flowers, flowers will fall on you; throw stones, stones will fall on you. Thus you are the creator of your own destiny. But, you are full of hurts, ego, jealousy, anger, hatred, traumas etc. hence your thoughts, words and actions result in such decisions leading to a particular kind of life.      On the other hand, you surrender to
